About Mike Garner
Mike Garner grew up in Salinas, California, spending countless days on Lake Nacimiento and Lake Tahoe, where he started water skiing at age 10. He later moved to Stockton to pursue his love of skiing and boating and went on to become Vice President of Westmar Marine Insurance. After Westmar was sold in 2012, Mike transitioned into yacht sales. He served as Yacht Sales Manager at Delta Marine Sales—overseeing three locations and a team of six to eight salespeople—through 2023. Since 2016, his professional focus has been exclusively on brokerage yachts.
A lifelong boater, Mike has owned everything from yachts and houseboats to offshore boats, ski boats, pontoons, and center consoles. He has visited Florida for more than 40 years and, in 2023, purchased a waterfront home in Pompano Beach. Mike continues with Delta Marine Sales, handling exports, imports, and sales of yachts on both coasts, plus every state in between, working out of his office at Lighthouse Point Marina, Florida.
